How Misplaced Loyalties Threaten America
Misplaced Loyalties, Severe Lack of Insight, and Corrupt Partisans Threaten America.
Robert Mueller is an intelligent, honest, honorable, former FBI director and was a good leader of the Special Counsel team within the Department of Justice. As Special Counsel, Mueller oversaw the investigation into “any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump, and any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation”. He had integrity.
Even after most people in the know worried Barr’s loyalty was misplaced, Special Counsel Mueller also misplaced his loyalty, which should have been to the entire democratic republic and its’ rule of law. His loyalty was not to any individual or party, but it was to the Department of Justice which was already under corrupt leadership at the very top. Mueller followed a departmental guideline that sitting presidents should not be indicted, rather than the rule of law and the long-held belief which applies to all Americans; “NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW”. Mueller expressed that it would be possible that Individual-1, (Trump), the Unindicted Co-conspirator could be indicted as soon as he is no longer president.
It appears that Mueller believed Trump could not have a fair trial. He would have an inability to defend himself due to the demands of his office. This left many fair-minded Americans perturbed: since when does any American get such special dispensation to have serious crimes overlooked in order to report to work?! Again, supposedly, nobody is above the law. Perhaps Mueller thought it best to leave the responsibility of impeachment to the US House, followed by an unbiased trial and removal by the US Senate, and then have an unbiased Justice Department consider indictment of Trump on criminal charges similar to crimes Michael Cohen was already serving prison sentences for.
And now, America is waking up to the nightmare of no limits to the corrupt, authoritarian measures of Impeached Donald Trump. With over 16,000 NS3.US/lies, alternative facts, and false claims, the sleazy and hate-filled bullying, p___ grabber bigot is, by far, the worst role model of any modern president. It is clear Trump abused the powers of his office for his own personal political benefit. Many well-informed people are aware of the many obstructions of justice throughout his entire presidency. With the help of the Senate Majority and SenMjrLdr “Moscow Mitch” McConnell and their misplaced loyalties and lies against their oaths of office and juror oaths, Trump was acquitted, will always remain impeached, and was not exculpated. With the “party before country” Senate Republican majority having his back, like a crazy cult, Trump is more emboldened as a tyrannical authoritarian than ever.
House Republicans who defended Trump during the impeachment hearings, and Senate Republicans who broke their oaths of office and juror oaths during the impeachment trial, including the Senate Majority Leader, are an affront to American values, are helping Trump destroy the character and most important values of our democratic republic. They should have realized their stance of party over country will be a stain of shameful discredit on their families’ names for all history.
