The politics to the left want to HELP individuals lead moral lives.

In the current two-party system, something is seriously missing!

The politics to the right want to MAKE individuals lead moral lives.

Where are the politics that LET individuals live their lives?

THINGS TO THINK ABOUT - GOVERNMENT SPYING ON CITIZENS

The Real ID Act

The best answer to the Real ID Act being forced on the states comes from Montana.

Are RFID Chip Implants in your future?

In the future, what will the government do if you refuse to be implanted with an RFID chip? If you get out of line, the government simply turns off your chip! Video

Message from Senate Candidate Jan MacKay to All Legislators and the Governors Office on July 15, 2008

Subject: HB 2136 - Opposition to the Real ID Act - Montana Text Referenced for Strong Reply to the Fed

In todays' House Transportation Committee, please vote favorably for HB 2136 . I agree with NC House members and North Carolinians who oppose the federal mandate to implement provisions of the Real ID Act.

Lack of federal funding is not the only objection to the Real ID Act. There are also sovereignty and rights issues involved. As such, you might consider it appropriate that strong language be adopted in reply to the federal mandate, similar to that of Montana. If time allows, please consider motioning for a committee substitute which borrows text referenced within Montana bill, House Bill 2087 , with changes adopted which are pertinent to North Carolina.

This bill should transverse all party lines, and obtain unanimous opposition to the federal mandate if possible.

Sincerely,

Janice "Jan" MacKay
